The Contact uses a four-layer Strand-Tech sub-base laminate layer to ensure the best possible surface grip--a technology sometimes called "posi-traction for snowboarding." As a result, the Contact is right at home whether boosting off a critical knoll or arcing huge sweepers in an open snowfield. The board also offers Core-Ex lamination for the ultimate in edge control, along with a Duraspeed topsheet and a light-touch internal dampening system with a Precision Ground 4200 base. This particular snowboard is a size 158, which is ideal for a rider between 120 and 200 pounds with a shoe size of 7 to 12.
